Post 1: A country I'd like to visit
I'd like to visit El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. For this three countrys, I know that are the most violent countries in the world. This three countries have three civil wars in the decade of 80's, between communists movements and the governments. In the decade of 90's, in El Salvador born the Maras. The Maras are gangs dedicated to drug trafficking, and they have the country envolved in violence. In 2005, in Guatemala they settle the Zetas, a group of gunmen of México. This three countries are the passage of drugs from Colombia to México.
In contrast to this, Centroamérica hosted the Maya culture and his ruins, and a rich literature, like Roque Dalton and Horacio Castellanos Moya.
I'd like to work in El Salvador, because in this country is El Faro, the most relevant newspaper dedicated to investigation journalism in America Latina. El Faro investigate the business between the Maras and the governments of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, and political corruption.

ResponderEliminarI think one of the interesting things about Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, are the stories about those country.
ResponderEliminarI love the wealth of the culture of these three countries. The bad thing is that sometimes we don't pay them the necessary attention they deserve.
